Clinical Nutrition in Stockport
— understanding what your body actually needs

Diagnostics & Nutrition

Good nutrition advice isn’t a list of foods to avoid or a generic meal plan that falls apart under the slightest life pressure we all feel. It’s a thorough understanding of how your body is actually functioning — what it’s absorbing, what it’s missing, and what’s driving your symptoms at a cellular level. We also aim to receive a thorough understanding of you and your life to best tailor your programme to your needs.

Ruth Goulding is a Clinical Nutritionist and Yoga Therapist offering functional, test-based nutrition consultancy from our Stockport clinic. She works with clients who have complex, long-standing health issues that generic dietary advice has failed to resolve.

Our diagnostic approach

We don’t guess. We test. Our nutrition consultations can be combined with:

  • Zinzino BalanceTest — omega-6:3 ratio, inflammation markers, and cellular health
  • YorkTest Food Intolerance Test — IgG reactivity to 200 foods and drinks
  • Blood spot Vitamin D, HbA1c (blood sugar marker), and more. This gives us real, objective data about what is going on in your body at a cellular level and helps us tailor your programmes to suit your physiology.
