Chronic pain long standing pain that persists beyond the usual recovery period (pain that lasts for over three months.) The pain can be there all the time (continuous), or it may come and go. It can happen anywhere in your body. It may affect people to the point that they can’t work, eat properly, take part in physical activity, or enjoy life.
